little girls do dream big

when i was a kid, i really wanted to be a nurse.

o siyempre, walang maniniwala sa akin na gusto ko talagang maging nurse. it might be hard to believe, but i really do want to be a nurse ever since i was a kid.

here's the proof. with matching photo pa! i found it while i was cleaning our old study table…

wala nang aangal. ako yan! o di ba wrong spelling pa ang sagittarius? haha!

i just realized that i'm one step away from my dream. it's only the license and i would fully be what i wanted myself to be many years ago.

with that, i'm happy. =)

galeng mo! may isang salita ka pla! hehehe not all kids mean it when they say they want to be a nurse, or a doctor or a lawyer when they grow up! congrats for the dream come true!

@ adam: oooh. cool. thanks! i'm going to check it out. and my bad! don't worry because i'm going to send you the translations of the sentences in filipino... =)

@ ayel: oo nga eh, ang sarap balikan. aside from that slumbook, i saw a lot of stuff dun sa study table. it includes our old artworks way way back nung grade 3. when i saw that i was smiling and laughing sa mga pinaggagawa ko...thanks for commenting on this post. =)

that's what i admire about you, sis. may passion ka sa ginagawa mo kaya maganda naman ang kinalalabasan. hehe. i wish i was that sure and driven. (or had the freedom to be that driven)

good luck!

You're awesome KC! I can't believe you wanted to be a nurse wayyyy back then!!! I didn't even think about being a doctor until August 2006 when I applied to medical school! lol

kc said...

@ alia: thanks. =)

but of course, the path to achieving what i wanted wasn't easy. there are times that i really wanted to give up. then tuition fees are also a problem. you know how it is in my school, right?

i also thought about my parents' sacrifices so i was really hell bent on finishing my studies. so when i graduated, touching that rolled paper is really sweet.

i know you can do it too. good luck on that thesis of yours.

god bless! =)

@ adam: i also surprise myself. i never thought of becoming a nurse because when i was a kid, i want to become everything that i considered cool. i dreamt of becoming an astronomer, a black belter in karate, a doctor, a pianist, and a scientist aside from being a nurse.

maybe knowing something about how nurses work gave me the motivation to pursue it. i often hear my aunts (who are also nurses) talk about what they do for a day. i'm always fascinated by that and maybe that is really the reason. :)

hehe cute mo naman dun. im fond of slumbooks nga pala when i was little kid (so flamboyant right?). ambition ko yata dun eh pornstar na agad eh. just kidding. MD, that is. =)

kc said...

@ ruff: haha. i still have my baby fats...anyway, i'm also a slumbook freak. i get a kick of letting my friends answer that.

that is so funny. the ambition to be a pornstar? i love it! =)

kc said...

kc said...
