Fail.

I was annoyed by the dumbass who posted the "Cebu OR Scandal" on YouTube. Although it was an amusing case, the video should've been kept confidential, just as it should be...or posting isn't preventable, it should've been at least viewable to his/her contacts.

Some people say it was kind of irresponsible to do that. They're just being nice in saying that because for me, that's stupidity.

And now, cameras are like, banned from operating rooms. I am affected by this.

As a camwhore, I love seeing photos of myself in action. If you're a camwhore, you'd get me. LOL ;p

And as a surgical freak who specialized in the operating room, I take photos of interesting specimens or ask someone to take photos of the internal organs. Like for example, when I scrubbed in at a distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy case, I took photos of the tumor, the body and tail of the pancreas, and the spleen after surgery. It was a rare feat to ever see at 20 centimeter wide tumor sticking out of the pancreas and the spleen. It's nice for educational purposes although I keep it for my contacts.

Now I can't take photos of interesting orthopedic cases that I've handled. Shit.

ok lang yan. since then naman talaga we're not allowed to take photos of our clients.;)at lalo na kung ipa-publish sa kung saan.

Lols.

@ Mikes: Kunsabagay, if there's a will, there's way...nyahaha!

@ Anonymous: Technically, I also can be categorized with the dumbasses because I have OR pictures in my blog. Yun nga lang, my purpose wasn't to make a laughingstock out of the patient so I guess I'm less of a dumbass.

Kthxbye.

@ Arnie: Oo nga eh. I just have to get used to this, I guess. So goodbye na sa pictures ng mga diseased organs na tinanggal...

Nung una kong narinig to, I was horrified kasi naisip ko yung pasyente...kawawa naman.

they shouldnt have took a video of that operation in the first place. o kaya may isa na lang na taga kuha, na tulad mo eh for educational purposes and kert confidential.

it's one big example of irresposiblity on their part.

@ King Daddy: I agree. The video clearly is an example of a power trip.

@ Arjay: Wapakels na ako kay Anonymous. Hehe. Agree ako sa sinabi mo na hindi maganda yung inasal nung mga tao...
